A 8am start for the team at Williams Taxi & Tours. The first order of business is to get that essential caffeine fix with a hot cup of coffee before getting ready to leave for the staff run into Jamestown. Checking the vehicle over thoroughly is crucial to ensure that everything is in working order before hitting the road.
By 8am the team is on their way to collect staff members and transport them to Jamestown for the start of their work day at 8:30am. Ensuring that the staff members arrive punctually is a top priority for Williams Taxi & Tours, as they value the importance of reliability and professionalism in their service.
The team finishes the home to duty transport by 8:30 am and then makes their way to the taxi rank for the daily taxi service. From this point on, it's a busy day ahead, especially if it’s a Thursday & Friday when most people purchase their weekly shopping. With drivers working tirelessly to serve customers from all walks of life. From elderly individuals needing transportation for shopping trips to workers heading to hospital appointments, and tourists wanting to explore the island's attractions, Williams Taxi & Tours cater to a diverse range of needs.
Lunchtime rolls around at 12:30 pm, but whether or not the team members get a chance to eat largely depends on how busy the day is. Despite the hectic schedule, they always strive to provide excellent service and ensure that their customers are well taken care of.
As the afternoon progresses, the team continues to work diligently at the taxi rank, assisting customers with their transportation needs. When both cars are not at the taxi rank, I’m either looking round to find parts for a car that needs replacing or chasing up on emails or creating content for our social media platforms, ensuring we are visible online for a more professional look.
